Vekoma Rides Manufacturing and Tibidabo, Barcelona - Spain successfully completed the installation of the spectacular coaster, named by the park "Muntanya Russa".
The festive opening by the Mayor of Barcelona Jordi Hereu, took place on December 23, 2008
Vekoma Rides Manufacturing is extremely proud with the successful opening of the custom designed family coaster built against the hills of Tibidabo in Barcelona.
The 740 meter roller coaster, beautifully designed to follow the characteristic scenery of the hills of Barcelona, runs with two colorful blue and red trains, from 500 meter above sea level with an exciting speed through the trees and natural environment down the mountain side, giving the riders a spectacular view over Barcelona. The coaster has a capacity of more than 1000 guests per hour is suitable for the entire family as children from 1.20 meter (5-6 years old) can ride.
A ride that will be on everyone’s wish list as the park opens again this spring!
