Vekoma Rides is very proud to announce that our flying coaster F.L.Y. - a milestone in the roller coaster industry - has won the European Star Award 2020 in the category "Europe's best new coasters" and in 2nd place in the same category our newly developed suspended thrill coaster Hals-über-Kopf!

For the ninth time, Europe's most important prize was awarded to the best theme parks and water parks on the continent. Europe’s most important distinction was launched in 2012 as a non-profit award, to honour the most innovative ideas and to encourage entrepreneurial courage.
The most successful theme parks and water parks, the most breathtaking novelties and the most spectacular attractions and coasters were honoured. Earlier an international and independent trade jury voted for the Top 10 in each of the 14 categories.
As the awards could unfortunately only be presented in the magazine and online this year due to the corona pandemic, the next European Star Award in September 2021 in Barcelona will be presented again in the usual festive setting to all well-known European park operators and manufacturers.
